MERAL KALAFAT KALFALI

She was born in Germany in 1975 and completed her education there. In 1995, she began her studies in the Department of German Language Teaching at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Istanbul University, and graduated in 2000. Being fluent in both German and Turkish at a native level and having an in-depth understanding of both cultures became one of the most significant factors shaping her professional journey.

She became closely acquainted with Turkey and Turkish lifestyle and culture during her university years. This period allowed her to build a strong personal connection with Turkey, not only academically but also on a personal level. After graduation, instead of pursuing a career in teaching, she chose to take part in joint projects carried out between Germany and Turkey. During this time, she worked extensively in the field of health tourism, gradually gaining in-depth knowledge and experience in this sector.

From 2007 onwards, she actively became involved in the travel, accommodation, and treatment processes of patients coming from Europe to Turkey for health tourism. She closely followed every stage for patients in areas such as hair transplantation, plastic surgery, and obesity surgery, always prioritising that patients feel safe and supported not only during their treatment but throughout their entire stay in Turkey.

In 2012, she relocated to Istanbul. This decision was made to provide direct, on-site support rather than remote assistance. Living in Istanbul as a guide who speaks the patients’ native language, understands the process thoroughly, and stands by them at every stage became a significant source of trust for her clients.

Over the years, she has worked on various projects with numerous healthcare institutions in both Turkey and Europe. In her collaboration with Clinichaus, the focus has been on working with ethical, highly specialised physicians and reliable healthcare institutions. Planning each process individually for every client forms the foundation of this approach.

In addition, she received operating theatre training alongside a plastic surgeon for 14 years. This long-term experience allowed her to gain strong practical expertise and a close understanding of surgical procedures beyond theoretical knowledge. As a result, she is able to provide more informed and accurate guidance to clients regarding doctor selection and treatment processes.

Ensuring that clients can receive clear and transparent answers to all their questions before and after surgery, and approach their treatment with confidence, has always been a top priority.
